Job summary

Jewson Henley is seeking a Tool Hire Assistant to join our Henley (RG9 1BY) branch. This full-time role involves driving a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect orders, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a rotating Saturday shift. Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne van.
• Work schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00–16:00 and alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day tool hire activities to ensure efficient, safe operations.
• Build strong customer relationships and support growth through cross-selling.
• Provide guidance to team members and support high-quality customer experience.
• Deliver and collect customer orders promptly, ensuring correct loading/unloading per procedures.
• Support colleagues in building knowledge of tool hire products.
• Maintain tool hire standards and ensure inventory meets customer needs across the network.
