Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in Tonbridge is hiring a Retail Sales Advisor to provide exceptional service in-branch, helping customers select paints and decorating products. You will mix paint, process specialist orders, and assist with stock and merchandising to drive sales.

The role offers a friendly, team-oriented environment with full training provided and the chance to develop within the Brewers family, a long-standing UK retailer. Benefits include a pension and a range of staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communication to translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
• Approachable and friendly, happy to help both customers and colleagues.
• Enjoys working in a team but can also work independently when needed.
• Willing to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required.
• Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to customers in branch to support Brewers reputation for quality service.
• Use product knowledge to recommend and help customers find the best products for their needs.
• Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request stock within the branch network.
• Develop sales of our product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric.
• Build relationships with customers to identify needs and provide a comprehensive service.
• Promote seasonal and special items and merchandising to increase visibility and sales.
• Assist with stock maintenance in the branch and unload deliveries.
