Term Time Teachers Ltd in Tonbridge, Kent, is seeking a dedicated Toddler/Kindergarten Room Leader to head a 2-3 year olds room in a full-time, long-term role with potential for permanency.

You will oversee daily room operations, create a safe, nurturing environment and plan age-appropriate activities under the EYFS framework, while building strong parent partnerships.

Toddler/Kindergarten Room Leader

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Toddler/Kindergarten Room Leader to lead a room for children aged 2-3 years in the Tonbridge area.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the room, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where toddlers can explore, learn and develop through play.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a team of Early Years Practitioners.
• Planning fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Supporting children's communication, physical development, independence and social skills.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting children's emotional wellbeing.
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintaining accurate observations and developmental records.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working within an early years or nursery setting.
• Has strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Understands the developmental needs of children aged 2-3 years.
• Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about early years education.
• Is able to work full-time and is looking for a long-term opportunity.
