Job summary

Balfour Beatty is delivering Sizewell C, and the TOC Technical Assurance Manager will oversee technical assurance within the Civil Works Alliance, coordinating design maturity, risk, and submission readiness to support robust project delivery.

The role focuses on ensuring evidence is complete and aligned with submission needs, coordinating assurances across Pre‑TOC, TOC Readiness and TOC Assurance, and supporting final submissions with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the TOC Technical Assurance system within the Civil Works Alliance.
• Lead delivery of LoD0 (self‑assurance) principles, overseeing assurance by CWA’s engineers within the delivery teams.
• Coordinate technical assurance across the three TOC phases: Pre‑TOC Surveillance; TOC Readiness; TOC Assurance.
• Support TOC progression, including readiness reviews and final submission.
• Provide structured assurance of technical maturity, completeness, and risk visibility to enable robust TOC outcomes.
