Job summary
Speedy Hire is seeking an Engineer – TLS to take overall responsibility for inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of plant hire equipment in the region, ensuring all work is safe and compliant with Speedy safety standards.
You will work alongside other engineers in the depot and regularly liaise with drivers and the hire desk team to prioritise repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to test and repair plant equipment to a high standard.
- NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in a relevant discipline.
- Technical/engineering background desirable.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, maintain and repair plant hire equipment.
- Work with depot engineers and liaise with drivers and hire desk to prioritise repairs.
