Welder - Titanium
Location: Daventry

The COMPANY
Our client is an independent company who have carved themselves a niche supplying/designing powertrain components (exhausts, and other specialist Automotive components) to OE Automotive customers. Their reputation and expertise is such that many of the most prestigious manufacturers utilise their services. We are proud to be an integral part of our client's continuing success which has resulted in a bulging order book and a recent expansion to a new purpose-designed production facility.

The company received the Queens Award for Enterprise.

The ROLE
Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled welder with experience in Titanium to become an integral part of our Client's production team. Duties will include:

1. Welding Titanium to a good standard using TIG welding
2. Welding titanium in an inert atmosphere (purge chamber, glovebox, cabinet)
3. Fabricate parts from drawings
4. Prepare parts for welding (saw, pillar drill, grinding, pipe bending, pipe threading, weld preparation)

The CANDIDATE
The right candidate will possess:

1. Experience within a similar environment
2. Experience welding titanium
3. Skilled TIG welder
4. Mechanical Engineering background
5. Ability to read Manufacturing Drawings
6. The desire and ability to contribute to the team
7. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
