Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in Ilkeston is seeking HGV Class 2 tipper drivers for straightforward collection and tipping work with weekends off and a clear route to a permanent position.

You will operate a Class 2 tipper, collect aggregates, tip at sites, and follow the transport team’s instructions while keeping to health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Class 2 tipper driving experience advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in aggregates transport is beneficial.
• Willingness to work regular hours and follow safety rules.

£17 per hour, weekends off and a genuine route to a permanent job! We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers in Ilkeston for straightforward collection and tipping work, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and the opportunity to secure a long-term position.

This role is ideal for drivers who have recently qualified and gained some driving experience, as well as experienced drivers looking for a change from multi-drop deliveries. If you want regular work, a simple daily routine and the chance to build your HGV career, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle, collecting and transporting aggregates and other materials before tipping them at designated locations.

The work follows a straightforward routine of collecting loads, travelling to the required site and tipping before moving on to the next job. You’ll follow instructions from the transport team, complete your journeys safely and communicate professionally with site personnel.

You’ll also carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, complete the necessary paperwork and follow site rules and health and safety procedures.

Previous tipper driving experience is advantageous but not essential, making this a good opportunity for drivers with some commercial driving experience who are looking to develop their skills in a new area.
