Quality Service Recruitment Limited is recruiting HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers in Ilkeston for straightforward collection and tipping work, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and a genuine route to a permanent position.

You’ll operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle, collecting aggregates and materials, tipping at sites, and following instructions from the transport team. Daily vehicle checks and paperwork are part of the role, with weekends off and a temp-to-perm progression.

Qualifications

£17 per hour, weekends off and a genuine route to a permanent job! We’re recruiting HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers in Ilkeston for straightforward collection and tipping work, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday hours and the opportunity to secure a long-term position.

This role is ideal for drivers who have recently qualified and gained some driving experience, as well as experienced drivers looking for a change from multi-drop deliveries. If you want regular work, a simple daily routine and the chance to build your HGV career, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle, collecting and transporting aggregates and other materials before tipping them at designated locations.

The work follows a straightforward routine of collecting loads, travelling to the required site and tipping before moving on to the next job. You’ll follow instructions from the transport team, complete your journeys safely and communicate professionally with site personnel.

You’ll also carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure loads are secure, complete the necessary paperwork and follow site rules and health and safety procedures.

Previous tipper driving experience is advantageous but not essential, making this a good opportunity for drivers with some commercial driving experience who are looking to develop their skills in a new area.

You’ll need a valid UK Category C driving licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply, provided they have gained some relevant driving experience since passing their test. Previous tipper experience is advantageous but not essential.

A reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude is essential, along with the ability to follow instructions and work safely around vehicles and site equipment.

This is an ongoing position offering a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity. Suitable drivers will have the chance to demonstrate their abilities and potentially secure a permanent role.

You’ll work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, giving you consistent weekday hours and weekends free.

Duration

The role pays £17.00 per hour via Umbrella, with 40 hours of work available each week. You’ll benefit from ongoing work, weekends free and the genuine opportunity to secure permanent employment.
