Job summary

Recon Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Tipper driver for a full time temp-to-perm role based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. This role requires a valid HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC and Tachograph, and previous tipper experience.

A clean licence with no more than 9 points is essential, and good communication with site teams is important. Duties include safe operation, pre- and post-run checks, timely deliveries, accurate delivery notes and logs, and strict adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC and Tachograph.
• Tipper experience preferred.
• No more than 9 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Class 2 Tipper truck while following road safety regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each run.
• Deliver materials to the correct location.
• Maintain delivery documentation such as delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate effectively with the site depot regarding delays or issues.
• Follow health and safety protocols to keep yourself and others safe.

HGV CLASS 2 TIPPER DRIVER REQUIRED

Recon Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Tipper driver for a full time temp-to-perm role based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.

Our client is looking for a full time temp-to-perm driver to join their team due to an increase of vehicles in the fleet.

In this role you will be responsible for safely transporting various materials such as aggregates and waste from various job sites, whist maintaining contact with the yard and ensuring deliveries are made on time.

Your role

• Safely operate the Class 2 Tipper truck whilst ensuring you are sticking to all road safety regulations.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after your run.
• Deliver all materials to the correct location.
• Maintain all delivery documentation - such as delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate effectively with the site depot regarding any delays or issues encounted.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure the yourself, your colleagues and the public are safe.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence, CPC and Tacho
• Previous Tipper experience.
• Strong Communication skills.
• No more then 9 points on licnece.
