Job summary

Abertay University is seeking a Timetable Officer on a 0.5 FTE part-time basis. This permanent position reports to the Student Administration Manager and supports teaching and exams timetabling to enhance the student experience.

You will work with the Timetable Officer and other colleagues to maintain accurate records, generate reports, ensure timetable principles are followed, and contribute to cross-team collaboration across Academic Services.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operational management of institutional timetabling for teaching and exams.
• Coordinate and enhance timetabling using timetable principles to ensure a student-centred timetable and efficient use of space.
• Work closely with the full-time Timetable Officer and staff responsible for student records to maintain accuracy.
• Produce reports for management and support colleagues to maintain consistency across Academic Services.
• Support knowledge development and collaboration across Academic Services to improve processes.
