SRS Recruitment is assisting a leading Timber Merchant in Greater London to recruit a SALES EXECUTIVE. The role focuses on selling Timber and Timber Products to existing customers and new prospects, with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships and delivering high levels of customer service.

The candidate will manage key accounts, negotiate prices, and represent the company professionally in the field. A proactive, target-driven approach and solid IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction products sales ideally Timber.
• Customer service experience in a sales environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to confidently communicate over the phone and face to face.
• Outstanding listening and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, manage and maintain relationships with current and target customers.
• Arrange and attend client and customer meetings.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase your client base.
• Provide comprehensive updates of the company, products and services to clients.
• Attend industry events as required.
• Stay updated on current market and industry trends, competitor activity, and leading customer strategies.
• Quoting and costing customer requirements.
• Ensure high customer service standards are met at all times.
