ACS Staffing Solutions is seeking an Automatic Crosscut Saw Operator in Corby for a temporary role with a potential permanent opportunity. You will operate a Hundegger automatic crosscut saw, set up cutting lists, and ensure accurate timber production.

The role requires attention to timber defects, precise measuring, and adherence to health and safety procedures. Immediate start is available with on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating automated or CNC woodworking machinery.
• Good understanding of timber and defects.
• Strong measuring skills and attention to detail.
• Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the automatic crosscut saw.
• Enter cutting lists and ensure correct programming.
• Inspect timber for defects and minimise waste.
• Measure and check finished timber for accuracy and quality.
• Carry out routine machine checks and blade changes.
• Work safely and follow site procedures.
