Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking an experienced tiler for a short-term project based in Port Isaac. You will tile walls and floors to a high standard, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Responsibilities include fixing tiles, grouting, site cleanup, and adhering to health and safety procedures. Own tools and PPE are preferred, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy construction setting.

Qualifications

• Previous tiling experience with relevant qualifications.
• Good knowledge of tiling techniques and materials.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to the role and site requirements.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fix ceramic wall and floor tiles as specified in drawings.
• Grout joints and finish to a high standard.
• Clear up the tiled area and manage waste/tiles disposal.
• Work safely following site health and safety procedures and keep area tidy.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced

Tilerfor a project based in Port Isaac.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tiling work to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with site requirements.

Duties will include:

• Fix ceramic wall and floor tiles as specified in drawingsGrout joints
• Clear up the newly tiled area and consider the disposal solution for any broken tiles or used tiles
• Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures.
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a tiler
• Good knowledge of tiling techniques and materials.
• Valid CSCS card appropriate to the role and site requirements.
• Relevant tiling qualifications and experience.
• Own tools and appropriate PPE.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Duration: 2 weeks.
