Job summary

United Living Group is looking for a skilled tiler to work on kitchen and bathroom tiling tasks on site. You will manage safe power isolation, install tiles around baths, and adjust tiling to bath shapes while coordinating with residents. Own tools and a UK driving licence are expected.

Requirements include asbestos awareness training (or supplied), CSCS card, and good English. You will be reliable, organised, and able to meet deadlines with a focus on quality.

Qualifications

• Asbestos awareness training (can be provided in-house by Pilon).
• CSCS Card required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Own tools (110v or battery-operated) and a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.
• Good conversational English and ability to work to deadlines.
• Reliable, organised and detail oriented with commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Isolate kitchen power (switch off consumer unit).
• Lock off kitchen circuit with padlock while working.
• Remove sockets, then reinstall after work is complete.
• Inform resident that kitchen sockets cannot be used for approx. 2 hours.
• Install tiles around the bath only.
• Tile walls depending on bath shape: all 3 walls if three-sided, or along bath length if L-shaped.
• No full tiling at WC area; tile behind sink up to 3 rows high.

• Install tiles around the bath only
• If bath is between 3 walls: tile all 3 walls along full bath length
• If bath is in an L‑shape (2 walls): tile only along the bath length
• No full tiling at WC area
• Tile behind sink only, up to 3 rows high
