Job summary

Net Zero Careers Accelerator in London is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join a construction team in Walthamstow. The role involves hands-on installation of tiles to walls and floors with a focus on high-quality finishes and safe working practices.

The candidate should have proven tiling experience, be able to prepare surfaces, measure and cut accurately, and work well with others on site. NVQ in Tiling preferred; CSCS and SSSTS are advantageous for on-site work.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Tiling preferred; CSCS is desirable.
• SSSTS preferred for site supervision tasks.
• Proven tiling experience on walls and floors.

Responsibilities

• Install wall and floor tiles to a high standard.
• Prepare surfaces before tiling.
• Measure and mark areas accurately.
• Cut and fit tiles to specifications.
• Apply adhesives and grout correctly.
• Ensure tiles are level and properly spaced.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow drawings and site instructions.
• Work with other trades as required.
• Adhere to RAMS and PPE requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join a construction team working in Walthamstow.

This is a hands-on role involving the preparation and installation of tiles to walls and floors. The successful candidate will take pride in producing a high-quality finish and be able to work safely and efficiently within a construction environment.

Please note: this is a wall and floor tiling position and does not involve roofing tiling.
