Job summary

P Louise in Stockport is seeking a TikTok Live Operative to join the eCommerce team. You will support Live Hosts, manage overlays, graphics, and the technical side of broadcasts, delivering engaging live shopping experiences for a beauty brand.

Working in a fast-paced studio, you’ll monitor stream quality, track performance data, and assist with launches, with shifts including evenings or weekends. An interest in social media and live video is essential.

Working closely with our Live Hosts and wider eCommerce team & Marketing team, you’ll help create engaging, fast-paced live shopping experiences watched by thousands of viewers.

No two days are the same — from updating live stream graphics and supporting product launches, to helping manage the technical side of our broadcasts and tracking performance data. You’ll be at the centre of the action, learning how TikTok Lives operate within a leading beauty brand while gaining hands-on experience in social commerce, content production, and live streaming.

Key Responsibilities

Live Stream Operations

• Prepare and set up the Live room prior to the start of each Live session.
• Create, update, and manage overlays, banners, and on-screen graphics throughout the Live, ensuring they align with current products, promotions, and activations being discussed.
• Handle product, pricing, and promotional activity during Lives, ensuring accuracy and smooth execution.
• Monitor the overall quality of the live stream, including lighting, audio, video, and connectivity.
• Support Live Hosts in real time by providing feedback based on audience comments, questions, and engagement trends.

Technical & Studio Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical difficulties during Live sessions quickly and efficiently.
• Identify recurring technical issues and report them to the relevant internal teams.
• Liaise with third-party vendors or IT support teams for more complex technical troubleshooting when required.
• Ensure all equipment is safely set up and operated in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Manage cables, lighting equipment, and technical setups to maintain a safe and organised streaming environment.

Performance & Reporting

• Track Live performance metrics and accurately input performance data following each session.
• Produce performance summaries and reports based on data collected from each Live.
• Monitor trends, viewer engagement, and operational performance to help improve future Live sessions.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience supporting livestreams, social commerce, studio production, or digital broadcasting preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with hosts and wider teams.
