Job Opportunity: TIG Welder

A specialist international manufacturing firm in metal based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire is looking for experienced TIG welders to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Key Requirements:

• Confident TIG welder with experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in various fabrication techniques
• Additional experience with MIG welding and working with pressure vessels is advantageous
• Qualifications such as Dye Penetrant, CSWIP, or PCN2 are desirable

The Role

• Primarily TIG welding, adhering to accredited regulatory codes
• Understanding and applying information within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)

Working Hours

The role involves a 37-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with two shift options based on preference:

• Early Shift: 05:45 to 13:45 (Monday to Thursday), 05:55 to 13:00 (Friday)
• Late Shift: 14:15 to 22:25 (Monday to Thursday), 13:00 to 19:00 (Friday) + 14% shift allowance
