Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in Brierley Hill. This full-time, temporary ongoing role offers £15–£17 per hour with a Monday-Thursday 8:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–13:30 schedule.

You will weld thin-gauge aluminium and mild steel (1.2–1.5mm), interpret drawings, and maintain high workmanship standards while contributing to a skilled production team. A weld test will assess your ability.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience.
• Strong experience welding 1.2mm – 1.5mm aluminium and mild steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Weld thin-gauge aluminium and mild steel between 1.2mm and 1.5mm to drawings and specs.
• Maintain high workmanship standards within a skilled production team.
• Interpret technical drawings accurately and work to specifications.
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
