Job summary

Pertemps Dudley Industrial is seeking an experienced TIG Welder for a busy manufacturing site in Brierley Hill. The role involves TIG welding aluminium and mild steel on 1.2mm–1.5mm materials, with emphasis on producing neat, accurate welds to drawings and specifications.

You will join a skilled manufacturing team and contribute to high workmanship standards. Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am-4.30pm and Friday 8am-1.30pm, paying £15-£17 per hour.

Qualifications

TIG welding experience essential.
Experience welding 1.2mm–1.5mm aluminium and mild steel.
Ability to work with thin-gauge materials.
Ability to produce neat, clean and accurate welds to drawings/specifications.

Location: Brierley Hill

Pay: £15 - £17 per hour

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing company based in Brierley Hill.

The role

TIG welding aluminium and mild steel
Working with materials between 1.2mm and 1.5mm
Producing neat, clean and accurate welds
Working to drawings and specifications
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and quality
Carrying out welding work to the required specifications
Working as part of a skilled manufacturing team

About you

Proven TIG welding experience
Strong experience welding 1.2mm - 1.5mm aluminium and mild steel
Experience working with thin-gauge materials
The ability to produce a consistent, high-quality weld
Good attention to detail
The ability to work accurately to drawings and specifications
A reliable and hardworking approach

Weld Test

A weld test will form part of the recruitment process.

This will allow the client to assess your practical TIG welding ability, including the quality and finish of your welds and your experience working with 1.2mm - 1.5mm aluminium and mild steel.
