Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a TIG Welder for its Camberley site. The role involves TIG welding (stainless steel) and occasional MIG work on sheet metal components.

The base salary ranges from £37,500 to £40,000 per year, with a 7:30am–4:30pm Mon-Thu and 7:30am–1:30pm Fri schedule. The successful candidate will read and interpret engineering drawings, use a variety of hand tools, and bring strong interpersonal and organisational skills to a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven background and experience in stainless steel TIG welding (coded will be advantageous).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experienced using a variety of hand tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be well organised and communicative.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding duties.
• Ensure produced fabrications meet rigorous and industry-leading standards.
• Support production and quality teams with inspections.
• Support enhancements on process improvements and continuous improvements implementation.
• Develop methods of manufacture.

Camberley

A leading manufacturer are seeking the right individual to join their team as a TIG Welder working at their Camberley site carrying out TIG, and occasional MIG welding, of stainless steel and other sheet metal-based materials.

Must have background.

• Proven background and experience in stainless steel TIG welding (coded will be advantageous)
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experienced using a variety of hand tools.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be well organised and communicative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing TIG and MIG welding duties
• Ensuring produced fabrications meet rigorous and industry leading standards.
• Supporting production and quality teams with inspections
• Supporting the enhancement on process improvements and continuous improvements implementation
• Developing methods of manufacture

• Profit Share Scheme – paid 6 monthly (Mar & Sept). Whilst this is based on Company profit and is therefore not guaranteed, it is designed to pay approx. 3% of salary across a year.
