Job summary

ES Recruit is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabricator for a specialist engineering manufacturer producing high-spec stainless steel doors and components in Bolton. You will weld stainless and duplex materials to tight tolerances, working from detailed drawings and performing grinding, drilling and assembly tasks.

The role offers a permanent position with a 4‑day working week, early or late shifts, and an attractive benefits package including healthcare, eye tests, and holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

Proven TIG welding experience; essential
Stainless steel & duplex welding experience; essential
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
Overhead crane certification preferred; essential for some roles

Responsibilities

TIG weld stainless steel and duplex stainless steel to customer drawings
Fabricate and weld engineered steel doors and components
Work from detailed engineering drawings
Clean, grind, drill and mechanically assemble parts
Achieve high-quality welds meeting UT, MPI or other NDT standards
