Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy engineering environment in Wolverhampton.

You will weld and fabricate, build and repair conveyors, maintain conveyor systems, and travel as required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Rate from £16.00 per hour, negotiable depending on skill level and experience; a company vehicle will be available for work-related travel.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG welding experience.
• Strong fabrication skills and knowledge of fabrication methods.
• Experience building, repairing and maintaining machinery.
• Experience working with conveyors or production-line equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The ability to travel when required.

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems
• Maintaining conveyors to ensure production lines continue running efficiently
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and fabrication issues
• Working with a range of fabrication tools, machinery and equipment
• Supporting general engineering and maintenance requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
