TIG Welder (Aluminium, Stainless Steel & Steel)6365
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £33,500 per annum
Hours: Monday – Thursday | 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday | 8:00am – 3:00pm
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing team in Gloucester. This hands-on position involves working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components, ensuring the highest standards in welding, material preparation, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities of a TIG Welder:
Performing TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
Preparing materials by cleaning, cutting, and accurately positioning for welding
Setting up and maintaining TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently
Inspecting welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
Following all health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE
Meeting production schedules while maintaining excellent workmanship
Key Skills of a TIG Welder:
Proven experience with TIG welding across aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications
Understanding of various aluminium alloys and their welding processes
Familiarity with welding equipment setup and routine maintenance
A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and in a team
Focus on health and safety standards and compliance
