Position: TIG / MIG Welder Fabricator

Location: Thurmaston, Leicester (LE4)

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (39 hours per week)

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

GI Pro is working with a leading multi-sector manufacturing business in Thurmaston, Leicester. We are seeking a skilled TIG / MIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team. This role offers steady day shifts, immediate starts, and a long-term career opportunity with room for progression.

Responsibilities

1. Perform TIG and MIG welding on materials between 1mm - 8mm thick.
2. Work confidently from technical and engineering drawings.
3. Complete fabrication, finishing, fettling, and quality checks.
4. Support various departments including assembly and grinding as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in TIG welding is essential.
• Skills in MIG welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to work accurately from technical drawings.
• A flexible team player willing to assist across different production areas.
