Job summary

Pertemps Redditch Industrial invites applications for a TIG Welder role in Redditch. The position involves manual and orbital TIG welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets and other components for aerospace applications.

The role requires working with stainless steel, Inconel, titanium and aluminium, using a range of welding equipment. A permanent, full-time contract with weekday hours is offered to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must have TIG welding experience.
• Orbital TIG welding experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings.
• Experience with materials: stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding to a high standard.
• Follow engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
• Set up, operate, maintain and programme TIG and orbital welding equipment.
• Use inspection and measurement equipment, including shadowgraphs, borescopes, verniers and micrometres.
• Previous TIG welding experience is essential; orbital TIG welding is a bonus; read and follow drawings.

0700 to 1545 Monday to Thursday, 0700 to 1200 Fri(38 hours per week)

£17.46 - £19.40 per hour, depending on experience

An experiencedTIG Welderrequired to join our team, working on high-quality components and assemblies for the Aerospace industry. The role will involve both manual and orbital TIG welding of rigid and flexible tube assemblies, brackets and other components.

You will work with a range of materials, including:

TIG Welder - Key Responsibilities

• Carry out manual and orbital TIG welding to a high standard.
• Follow engineering drawings, data cards, process specifications and standard work instructions.
