Salary: £33,075 - £35,400

Job Description

Our client, a modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham, is seeking a TIG Welder due to securing new contracts. This role offers development and progression opportunities within an innovative company.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will work as part of a close-knit team, primarily on welding (70%) and finishing (30%) of castings, including:

• TIG welding of casting repairs to ASME IX standards
• Maintenance checks on chambers and welding equipment
• Weld wire usage logging
• Visual inspection of welds (post-training)
• Assessment of excavation sites

Applicants should have previous TIG welding experience, preferably with castings and ASME IX standards, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Candidate Requirements

• Willingness to work overtime
• Interest in further training and qualifications
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Shift Patterns & Benefits

The initial shifts are rotating AM/PM, Monday to Friday, with potential to move to night shifts. All shift preferences will be considered. Benefits include:
