We are proud to partner with a leading manufacturing business based in Huddersfield. We are currently recruiting for a Coded MIG/TIG Welder on a permanent basis.

Fabrication Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 11.45am

Role Overview:

• Support the production of the company’s product range within the fabrication group.
• Ensure products are manufactured and surface finished according to company specifications.
• Complete work within budget and project requirements.
• Coordinate and prioritize parts in line with project plans.
• Review and implement efficient working methods to maximize cost-effectiveness.
• Contribute to continual improvement of product designs for cost savings.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Adhere to QA procedures to support structured business development.
• Support R&D projects with advice and assistance.

Skills and Experience:

• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience in fabrication and high-precision welding.
• Experience working with stainless steel.
• Apprentice trained.
• Must be or have been coded.
