Job summary

Aspion is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for its Oldham site to strengthen the fabrication team. You will TIG weld on stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel components, and fabricate from engineering drawings and technical specifications.

As part of a busy operation with modern machinery and a full order book, you will work to quality standards, maintain safety, and have opportunities for career progression through in-house training and ongoing investment.

Qualifications

• Over 2 years' experience in welding and fabrication.
• TIG welding experience.
• Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Experience working with fabrication equipment and machinery.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment.
• Experience working to quality standards and deadlines.
• Experience working to strict site health and safety standards.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
