Job summary

Pertemps Bond are recruiting an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing site in Brierley Hill. This hands-on role focuses on welding thin-gauge aluminium and mild steel between 1.2mm and 1.5mm, following drawings and specifications to produce neat, high-quality welds.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 1.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid break. Pay is £15-£17 per hour, and the assignment is temporary ongoing with weekly or monthly pay options.

Qualifications

Proven TIG welding experience.
Experience welding 1.2–1.5mm aluminium and mild steel.
Ability to read drawings and follow specifications.
Produce neat, clean, high-quality welds.
Reliable and hardworking team player.

Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing company based in Brierley Hill.

This is a hands-on TIG welding role, with the main requirement being experience welding thin-gauge aluminium and mild steel between 1.2mm and 1.5mm.

About you

The successful TIG Welder will ideally have:

Proven TIG welding experience
Strong experience welding 1.2mm - 1.5mm aluminium and mild steel
Experience working with thin-gauge materials
The ability to produce a consistent, high-quality weld
Good attention to detail
The ability to work accurately to drawings and specifications
A reliable and hardworking approach

Weld Test

A weld test will form part of the recruitment process. This will allow the client to assess your practical TIG welding ability, including the quality and finish of your welds and your experience working with 1.2mm - 1.5mm aluminium and mild steel.
