TIG Welder

Our client based in Abingdon is looking for a TIG Welder to join their team!

Abingdon

£15.00 - £20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Fabricate and assemble stainless steel parts to a high standard
• Perform TIG welding for vacuum and cryogenic stainless-steel applications
• Ensure all welding work meets required quality and safety standards

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in TIG welding, particularly with stainless steel
• Ability to weld to ASME IX and BS EN standards
• Competent in reading and working from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience within precision fabrication or specialist engineering environments is advantageous

Working Hours

• Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00 / 08:00 - 16:30
• Friday, 08:00 - 13:00 / 07:30 - 12:30
