Job summary

Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join their client in Cannock. The role focuses on TIG/MIG welding and fabrication of metal components to high standards.

The ideal candidate has solid mechanical knowledge, is proficient with hand and power tools, and experienced with sheet metal and welding.

Duties include reading drawings, setting up welding equipment, welding components, inspecting welds, keeping work area safe and tidy, and assisting assembly.

Qualifications

• Proven TIG/MIG welding experience.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Weld metal components using TIG and MIG processes.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up welding equipment and operate machinery safely.
• Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
