Job summary

NOTE Windsor Ltd in Windsor is offering a Through-Hole Soldering Operator role with full training provided. You will join a friendly production team and develop skills in through-hole soldering and assembly in a clean, professional environment.

Reporting to the Through Hole Supervisor, you will hand solder, prepare kits, read drawings, and monitor quality. The position offers a 37-hour week, early finish on Fridays, and a salary of £25,500 per annum, with a supportive, growing business.

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Job role and scope

Reporting to the Through Hole Supervisor you will be part of a team of technicians & solderers who will be responsible for all aspects of conventional Through Hole soldering and assembly. On occasion you will be required to support other activities within production including inspection. Candidates must be able to demonstrate soldering aptitude through our trade test and if successful will achieve high levels of output & quality in equal measure. Excellent tactile proficiency with small components will be essential.

Remuneration package

Salary Up to £25,500 pa (dependent on skills & experience)

Working hours

Full time is 37 hours per week

Mon to Thurs 07:30 to 16:00 and Fri 07:30 to 12;30

Holiday

25 days plus Bank Holidays (includes Christmas shutdown)

Plus, up to 5 days for long service
