Cyber Security Consultant at Hamilton Barnes

Join a rapidly growing cybersecurity team as a key member responsible for managing a Malware Information Sharing Platform (MISP) and delivering operational threat intelligence. Contribute to enhancing security for diverse clients and support national security efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and integrate automated threat intelligence feeds
  • Train SOC staff on MISP usage
  • Monitor threat feeds, OSINT, dark web, and logs for threats
  • Analyze data for IOCs and adversary behaviors
  • Produce monthly threat reports
  • Collaborate during active incidents, providing real-time intelligence
  • Contribute to threat hunting and evaluate TTPs using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
  • Track threat trends, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors
  • Refine threat intelligence processes and tools
Skills/Must have:
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and threat analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • DV clearance or eligibility for DV clearance
Additional details:
  • Location: Office-based with flexible WFH (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
  • Salary: Up to £60K, depending on experience
