Job summary

Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Respiratory Physiologist to join the Respiratory Physiology team. You will contribute to high-quality diagnostic investigations and work with physicians, nurses and colleagues to support patient care.

The role offers development opportunities with professional progression within a supportive environment, including CPAP/VPAP setup and interpretation of sleep studies, and day-to-day running of respiratory services.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in Lung Function & Sleep investigations.
• ARTP Part 1 & 2 qualifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of basic lung function tests on adults and paediatric out-patients and in-patients.
• Analyse basic lung function tests.
• Set up sleep studies and analyse/report sleep studies.
• Initiate CPAP/VPAP therapy and follow-up.
• Prioritise inpatient respiratory investigations and ensure timely results.
• Maintain equipment, stock levels, and departmental policies.
