Job summary

Bright Horizons Lancaster is seeking a Third in Charge to lead and inspire a dedicated early years team, delivering high-quality care and education. You will promote child welfare, health and safety, and build strong partnerships with parents and professionals.

You will also act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead when required, support nursery occupancy growth, and engage with Local Authority activities. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification and prior leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ Early Years qualification or higher.
• Experience in an Early Years setting; ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and compliance with child protection requirements.
• Ability to establish trust and collaborate with parents and colleagues.

You will promote and ensure child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding, and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to meet each child’s needs.
