• Substantial safeguarding experience with children and/or adults at risk.
• Strong understanding of current safeguarding legislation, policy and guidance.
• Experience providing advice, supervision or training to colleagues.
• Ability to build effective relationships across organisations and professional groups.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and high-quality patient care.

Aufgaben

• Lead on the development of safeguarding practice across the Trust.
• Provide specialist safeguarding advice, support and leadership to staff.
• Promote Think Family approach across clinical services.
• Support governance of safeguarding processes for children and adults at risk.
• Deliver safeguarding supervision and guidance to frontline practitioners.
• Design, deliver and evaluate safeguarding training programmes.
• Participate in safeguarding audits and quality improvement activities.
• Represent safeguarding team at multi-agency meetings and sub-groups.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to learn from reviews and practice developments.
• Support safeguarding decision-making within Single Point of Access services.
• Act as a visible safeguarding leader promoting best practice.
