Job summary

Manpower in Farnham, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Process Operator to join a specialist plastics manufacturing environment. You'll work on producing thermoplastic materials from raw ingredients to finished product, handling batch instructions and operating processing machinery.

The role requires hands-on work with plastics processes such as injection moulding, extrusion and mixing, with SAFETY and SOP adherence. Forklift experience is a bonus, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics manufacturing, injection moulding, thermoplastics, extrusion or polymer processing.
• Able to operate production machinery and follow batch instructions.
• Counterbalance forklift experience is beneficial but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and processing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Weigh and prepare raw materials according to batch instructions.
• Support mixing, extrusion, milling and blending processes.
• Set up, monitor and operate manufacturing equipment.
• Follow SOPs, production specifications and batch documentation.
• Carry out basic quality checks during manufacturing.
• Move raw materials and finished products around the facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
• Work closely with Production, Quality and Warehouse teams.
