Job summary

Vibe Recruit are recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing organisation in the Port Talbot area for a permanent Chemical Process Operator to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity with full training provided to develop into a fully trained operator.

The role covers manufacturing and packaging to procedures, safe handling of materials, forklift operation, and strict adherence to health and safety standards. You will work Monday to Friday in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift accreditation - essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport - essential.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety within a working environment.
• Ability to handle 25kg drums throughout the shift.
• Follow instructions and work accurately with good attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn, good work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and packaging products in line with procedures.
• Handling and moving materials safely throughout production.
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck.
• Following production instructions and completing tasks accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the workspace.
• Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Handling 25kg drums multiple times per shift.
• Working independently and as part of the production team.
