University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a Therapy Technical Instructor to work within the Medical & Surgical Therapy team across the West Midlands. The role involves contributing to respiratory, post-surgical, medical, frail, and emergency front-of-house care for patients.
Supervision will be provided by senior Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, with commitments to professional development through appraisal and training.
We are looking for an individual to undertake Therapy Technical Instructor post within the Medical & Surgical Therapy team., This post offers the opportunity to work within the medical and surgical teams providing respiratory, post-surgical, medical, frail and emergency front of house care for patients across the West Midlands.
Supervision will be provided by the Band 5/6/7 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist and personal development is supported through appraisal and internal and external training.
The successful candidate should have experience of working within a healthcare environment and an understanding of Therapy interventions. The post holder will also be expected to complete competencies in both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
