Job summary

UHNM is seeking a Therapy Technical Instructor in the Main area Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy for 22.5 hours per week at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent.

The role involves working across acute wards, developing competencies in both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, with supervision and opportunities for professional development.

Applicants should have NHS or healthcare experience and be willing to travel between UHNM sites.

Qualifications

• GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade C/4 or above.
• Therapy Apprenticeship in progress or completed.
• Qualification within health/social or sports environment.
• Experience in NHS or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across medical and surgical teams providing respiratory, post-surgical, medical and frail care.
• Provide front-of-house care for patients across UHNM sites.
• Supervision will be provided by Band 5/6/7 therapists and training pursued.
• Complete competencies in Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
