Job summary

Royal Devon is seeking a Band 7 Therapy Lead to manage Therapy services across Exmouth and Sidmouth Community Inpatient Units. The role is 30 hours per week with clinical and operational leadership across two units, shaping rehabilitation pathways and discharge planning with the MDT.

You will mentor staff, manage a complex caseload and contribute to service development within the Community Rehabilitation service, promoting patient independence and timely discharge.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients and carers across Exmouth and Sidmouth Community Inpatient Units.
• Lead the clinical specialty across both units, providing clinical leadership and governance.
• Work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team to ensure therapy is embedded in the overall care plan and supports discharge.
• Lead and develop therapy services across Exmouth and Sidmouth, and respond to patient need and wider Trust priorities.
