Job summary

Devon Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a senior psychology/psychotherapy professional to lead clinical practice within Exeter Core Adult Mental Health Services. The role includes expert assessment, specialist caseload management and high-level consultancy across multidisciplinary teams.

The post requires D.Clin.Psychol. or equivalent and accreditation with a professional body, with trauma-focused therapy experience and leadership capabilities essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified psychotherapist, clinical or counselling psychologist (D.Clin.Psychol. or equivalent).
• Further training or equivalent experience in adult psychological therapies.
• Further training in at least one NICE-approved psychological therapy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert assessment, formulation and interventions to individuals, families and groups.
• Hold a specialist caseload.
• Provide high-level consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Lead professional and clinical leadership of psychology and therapy services.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to psychologists and trainees.
• Support governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
