This may include the use of exercise, cognitive assessments, functional activities, breathlessness management, pacing and relaxation techniques. The post holder will hold their own caseload.

Good communication skills are essential to allow the post holder to engage with patients and work effectively as part of the team and independently. The individual will be organised, flexible, adaptable and show initiative. They will be expected to work within the parameters of their role, seeking support and advice when required from registered therapists. Clear and concise documentation of all interventions is essential.

The post holder will be expected to use IT to support their clinical role including recording patient contacts, data collection and accessing on-line training.
