Job summary

Fulwood Dental Centre in Preston area seeks a GDC-registered Dental Therapist to work under Direct Access, across Fulwood or Longridge with NHS and private patients. Full-time or part-time positions available, supported by a growing network of practices in North West England.

You will join a collaborative team, deliver high-quality therapy, and develop skills in cosmetic or restorative dentistry while enjoying structured induction and administrative support.

Qualifications

• GDC registration as a Dental Therapist is required.
• Confident in delivering Direct Access care and working independently when required.
• Patient-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivated to continue developing professionally, especially in cosmetic or restorative treatments.
• Reliable, professional, and aligned with high standards of clinical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine dental therapy treatments for NHS and private patients within the GDC scope of practice.
• Provide clear explanations of treatment options for informed decisions.
• Refer patients to in-house clinicians or specialists when required.
• Promote and deliver private treatment options including airflow polishing, restorations, hygiene therapy and preventive care.
• Maintain high professional standards, including accurate records and patient communication.

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting an experienced and motivated GDC-registered Dental Therapist to work under Direct Access within one of our Preston-based practices. You will have the choice of joining either:

• Fulwood: A modern, high-specification 10-surgery practice offering advanced technology, specialist services, and a fast-paced clinical environment, or

• Longridge: A smaller, friendly local practice with strong continuity of care and a community-focused feel.

Both locations offer excellent patient demand and strong clinical support.

Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
