Job summary

Longridge Dental Centre is seeking an experienced GDC-registered Direct Access Dental Therapist to join our friendly team on a full-time basis, treating NHS and private patients.

This modern, supportive practice offers a pathway to build your own private patient base with in-house referrals and marketing support from Smart Dental Care. Flexible days and hours can be discussed to suit you.

You will be supported in professional development and have opportunities to grow within the practice.

Qualifications

• GDC registration as a Dental Therapist is required.
• Direct Access experience and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Interest in developing private treatments and relations with patients.
• Cosmetic dentistry interest is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide periodontal therapy and restorative treatment for NHS and private patients.
• Carry out assessments and provide preventative care under Direct Access.
• Build long-term relationships with patients through quality care.
• Explain treatment options and help patients decide on care.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and refer for implants/orthodontics/cosmetic dentistry as needed.
• Develop private services and grow your own patient base.
