Job summary

360 CAMHS & Supported Living in Reading is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist vulnerable adults in safe, trauma-informed environments. You will work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.

Key duties include following care plans, observing mental states, supporting independent living, and helping clients participate in community activities across Reading and surrounding areas. Training and supervision are provided to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience as an adults' support worker in the UK.
• Strong understanding of complex mental health needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Autism, ADHD & alcohol abuse.

Responsibilities

• Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with the adults you support.
• Follow care plans, observe mental states, and ensure the safety of others.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and manage risk effectively.
• Escort and support people in community activities and appointments.
• Attend meetings and share feedback on each person's progress.
• Complete accurate records and reports in line with policy.
• Support adults in developing independent living skills and integrating into their local Reading community.
• Help organise stimulating activities and weekly plans.
• Empower the people you support to reach their full potential.
