Job summary

360 Services is seeking experienced Care Workers, Junior Support Workers, and Healthcare Assistants to join our team on night shifts across Reading. You will help residents feel safe, supported, and respected in homeless hostels, refuges, shelters, and supported accommodation projects.

Key duties include welfare, health and security checks, safeguarding the wellbeing of residents, monitoring access, and reporting incidents with clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular welfare, health, and security checks.
• Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of residents.
• Monitor access to the building and ensure only authorised visitors enter.
• Identify, report, and accurately document safeguarding, security concerns, and incidents.
• Respond to and investigate alarm activations when required.
• Maintain accurate visitor and incident logs.
• Distribute food donations and assist with light cleaning duties.
• Support senior support staff with other tasks as required.
