Job summary

New Oakwood Lodge, a Phoenix Futures residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation service, is seeking a sessional Therapeutic Team member to support residents day to day and to deliver therapeutic groups, activities and specialist interventions under the community-as-method model.

Shifts run across days, evenings, weekends and nights, with an emphasis on safeguarding and collaborative working to sustain recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience in the substance use sector or related field.
• Knowledge of adult protection and safeguarding.
• Innovative and flexible approach to meet service needs.
• Ability to work effectively with multi-agency partners.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the therapeutic community.
• Ensure residents' needs are met with high-quality care.
• Deliver therapeutic groups, activities and interventions per TC manual.
• Help individuals reach outcomes that support long-term recovery.
• Empower individuals, families and communities to feel confident about recovery.
• Help deliver the Therapeutic Programme to a high standard.
• Maintain a culture of recovery in the residential environment.
