SuperHiring is recruiting a Residential Support Worker for an Ofsted registered children's home in Eastbourne. The role involves delivering safe, therapeutic care to 12-16 year olds, supporting wellbeing and development within a structured environment.

You will work day or night shifts, with training provided and opportunities for career progression. The role requires empathy, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding vulnerable young people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Trauma-informed and child-centred approach.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, consistent and therapeutic care to children and young people.
• Support emotional, physical and psychological wellbeing.
• Build positive, professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
• Safeguard and promote welfare in line with policies and guidance.
• Administer medication following training and policy.
• Work flexibly across different homes within the service.
