Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Residential Support Worker / Key Worker / Therapeutic Practitioner to join our specialist children's residential team supporting young people with SEMH in a therapeutic environment. The role involves building positive relationships, providing therapeutic support, helping with care plans and routines, and supporting daily living activities, education appointments, and community activities.

A full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s residential care settings.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people and act as a consistent role model.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with young people and act as a consistent, professional role model.
• Provide therapeutic and relational support to help manage emotional, developmental and behavioural needs.
• Support the delivery and review of individual care plans, risk assessments and support strategies.
• Maintain routines, boundaries and structures to encourage positive behaviours and personal development.
• Support young people with daily living skills, education appointments and community activities.
• Complete accurate records, daily notes and incident reports.
